What does Classification (Caster or Holder): mean?

There are generally two types of magic mages use: Caster magic and Holder magic. A mage using caster magic would expel it from their body, whereas one using holder magic would channel it through an implement of some kind. An example of caster magic would be the Dragon Slayers' powers. Holder magic, however would make use of cards, blades, or keys.
